Frequently Asked Questions

 How long can we stay? 
As long as you would like!
 Can we park our car? 
Yes we have on-site parking.
 What should we wear? 
Please wear appropriate clothes for the sanctuary - it can be muddy during winter so please bring suitable footwear and sun cream and hats for the summer months.
 Can we touch the animals? 
Some of animals are quite shy due to their life before the sanctuary so unfortunately you can't touch all of the animals, some of them may come and say hello though.
 Can we feed the animals? 
No all our residents are on special diets so feeding the animals is not allowed. You can always help feed our animals by donating towards their food.
 Do you accept credit and debit cards? 
Yes we do but have no cash machines on site.
 Do you offer a family ticket? 
Yes we do have a family ticket - £20 for 2 adults & 2 children or 1 adult & 3 children.
 What food and drink is on offer? 
We've got a fantastic vegan café with plenty of options and a great afternoon tea menu.
 Can I bring a picnic? 
Yes we've got a designated picnic area where you can bring your own picnic.
 Can I drop my children off and pick them up later? 
No, you must stay with your children for your entire visit.
 Is Hopefield wheelchair accessible? 
Yes we are wheelchair accessible but some of the areas can be uneven - call us for more info!
 Are there places to wash our hands? 
Yes there are plenty of hand washing stations - please make sure you do wash your hands!
 Is there anything I need to know if I am pregnant? 
We are home to several cats and goats - so please be aware of this if you are pregnant
 What is your smoking policy? 
We don't allow smoking at Hopefield.
 If im bringing my baby, what facilities do you have? 
We have baby changing facilities on site.
 Are dogs allowed into the sanctuary? 
We do allow friendly well behaved dogs on leashes in the sanctuary.
